Window Cleaning Quote Template (Free 2026 Example + Wording)

A quote is a sales document, not paperwork. Here's a complete template you can copy today — plus the wording that turns a price into a booked round.

A good window cleaning quote has seven parts: your business details, the customer's address, exactly what's included, the number of windows or property size you priced, the frequency, the price, and how long the price holds. Miss any one of them and you invite a phone call instead of a booking.

Copy the template below word for word, swap in your own numbers, and you'll have a quote that reads like a professional operator rather than a text message from a stranger.

The template

  • Header: your business name, phone, email, and insurance line (e.g. 'Public liability cover: £2m').
  • Prepared for: customer name and full property address.
  • What we priced: property type, storeys, and window count (or size band).
  • Included: exterior glass, frames, sills, front and back doors — spell it out.
  • Not included: interiors, conservatory roof, Velux, gutter clearing — priced separately.
  • Frequency and price: e.g. '4-weekly — £24 per clean'.
  • First clean: note any uplift for heavily soiled first visits.
  • Valid until: 30 days from the quote date.
  • How to book: one link or one number. Never two choices.

Wording that wins the job

Write the quote the way you'd say it on the doorstep. Short sentences. No jargon. Here's a body you can lift directly:

"Hi Sarah — thanks for asking about your windows at 14 Oakfield Road. Based on a 3-bed semi with 11 windows, your exterior clean would be £24 on a 4-weekly round, including frames, sills, and both doors. Your first clean is £30 as it's been a while. If that works, tap the link and pick a start date — I'll confirm within the hour."

The single biggest win-rate lever

Speed. Quotes answered within minutes convert far better than quotes sent the next day, because most customers ask three cleaners and book the first credible reply.

What to leave out

  1. 'From £15' — anchors low and attracts price-shoppers.
  2. Long terms and conditions in the body. Link to them instead.
  3. Apologies for the price. Justify it once, then stop.
  4. Two calls to action. One next step only.

Sending quotes without writing them

If you're typing the same quote fifteen times a week, that's an hour of your evening gone. A quoting widget on your own website does the whole template automatically: the visitor enters their address, the window count is estimated and confirmed, your pricing rules do the maths, and the quote lands in their inbox with your branding on it — while you're still up a pole.

That's exactly what Squeegify does, and you can watch it produce a full quote on the live demo before you sign up for anything.
